Hello there, everyone knows me as Maca!
I'm a Colombian who has lived in Philadelphia since 2020.
I like photography as long as I can remember, I feel that it is a way to free and express myself.
I started taking self-portraits for fun with cameras I found or borrowed me.
I love to play with color palette, light, props and imagination (of course sometimes with photoshop too).
I'm passionate about the portrait, I like to show the person standing in front of my lens the beauty that I see and that he or she doesn't see. We all have a beauty that the world needs to see. The mirror we see at home a lot of times isn't the same mirror others see in us.
I also see it as a way of self-knowledge, channeling and emotional expression.
